CCTP 5005 PROJECT

My keyword is convergence.

Different communication-related fields are intertwined, overlapped, and blended. I want to learn how seemingly unrelated knowledge and technologies can go together and create new meaning.

My avatar is inspired by the wind chime. I chose elements related to communication: the eye for vision, the mouth for conversation, people holding hands for cooperation, the camera for recording, the wrench for technology, the pencil for writing, and the internet.

These elements link to a ring, symbolizing that they can connect and merge. Above the ring, wires converge into one point, reinforcing the concept of convergence: communication fields can converge into one, bringing unexpected assistance and rewards. 

The strength of my avatar is that it clearly conveys the message I intend to express. The weakness is that I did not utilize a diverse range of materials, which limited the opportunities to convey meaning through themselves.​​
